Louis Latour's Premier Cru red wines represent the quintessential elegance of Burgundian Pinot Noir, sourced from prestigious climats across the Cote d'Or, particularly around their historic home of Beaune. Since their founding in 1797, the Latour family has meticulously tended to these Premier Cru parcels, which benefit from optimal limestone-clay soils and favorable slope exposures. In the winery, these hand-harvested grapes undergo traditional open-vat fermentation before aging in French oak barrels crafted at Latour's own cooperage in Savigny-les-Beaune. This careful stewardship yields red Premier Crus characterized by bright red berry fruit, subtle earthy undertones, refined tannins, and a graceful structure that reflects the unique microclimates of Burgundy's historic terroir.

Maison Louis Latour blev grundlagt i 1797 og har rødder i Aloxe-Corton helt tilbage fra det 17. århundrede.
