Maison Louis Latour blev grundlagt i 1797 og regnes blandt Bourgognes mest historiske, familieejede négociant-éleveurs og domæner. Huset råder desuden over Côte d'Ors største besiddelser af Grand Cru-vinmarker. Med solid forankring på Corton-højens kalkrige, syd- og sydøstvendte skråninger vinificerer Latour sine druer på det ikoniske, tyngdekraftsdrevne vineri Cuverie Corton Grancey i Aloxe-Corton. Markarbejdet følger strenge lutte raisonnée-principper med biologisk skadedyrsbekæmpelse, egen kompostering og et totalt fravalg af syntetisk gødning under en ISO 14001-certificering. Hvidvinsfremstillingen prioriterer et rent, mineralsk udtryk via temperaturstyret gæring på rustfri ståltanke efterfulgt af en afstemt fadlagring på franske egetræsfade fra husets eget bødkeri i Savigny-lès-Beaune. De røde vine vinificeres med fokus på en struktureret, klassisk ekstraktion.
