Louis Roederer's Brut Premier is a historic non-vintage Champagne that defined the house's signature style for decades before transitioning to the 'Collection' series. Born from the desire to create a consistent, high-quality multi-vintage blend that could withstand the challenging, marginal climate of Champagne, Brut Premier was first introduced in the mid-20th century. It represents a masterclass in blending, combining estate-grown grapes with selected grower fruit from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards. A defining feature of its production is the use of oak-aged reserve wines stored in massive oak tuns, which impart a rich, creamy texture, micro-oxygenation complexity, and a signature vinous depth. This wine is celebrated for its perfect balance between youthfulness and maturity, freshness and character.

Established in Reims in 1776 and renamed upon Louis Roederer’s succession in 1833, Champagne Louis Roederer stands as one of the region’s preeminent independent, family-owned Grandes Marques. Spanning 250 hectares predominantly situated within Grands and Premiers Crus across the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne, and Côte des Blancs, the estate prioritizes exceptional estate-owned viticulture. Under Chief Executive Frédéric Rouzaud and long-tenured Chef de Cave Jean-Baptiste Lécaillon, the house has pioneered large-scale viticultural regenerative transitions, with vast holdings certified organic and farmed biodynamically. The winemaking style combines parcel-by-parcel vinification, judicious large-oak maturation, and blocked malolactic fermentation to preserve chalk-driven tension, textural depth, and crystalline purity.
