Louis Roederer’s Vintage Brut Rose is a masterclass in precision and a testament to the house’s pioneering spirit. Unlike many Champagne houses that simply blend still red wine into white, Roederer employs a highly demanding, proprietary infusion technique. This involves cold-macerating Pinot Noir grapes from the sunny, clay-limestone slopes of Cumieres for several days, then pouring Chardonnay juice from Grand Crus like Chouilly over them to ferment together. This co-fermentation yields an incredibly integrated, vibrant, and elegant rose. Historically, this method was perfected to capture the pure, wild-strawberry essence of Pinot Noir while maintaining the chalky, mineral-driven freshness of Chardonnay. Aged for around four years on its lees and partially vinified in oak tuns, this cuvee reflects the perfect harmony of structure, bright red-fruit aromatics, and a creamy, refined texture.

Established in 1776 in Reims and renamed in 1833 under the visionary leadership of Louis Roederer, this historic Champagne house remains one of the region's few independent, family-run estates. Renowned for its pioneering spirit, the house manages over 240 hectares of prime Grand and Premier Cru vineyards with an uncompromising commitment to biodynamic and organic farming practices. By utilizing oak casks for aging reserve wines, Louis Roederer crafts sparkling wines of exceptional depth, precision, and longevity. Its crown jewel is Cristal Brut, an iconic prestige cuvée originally created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II of Russia, which continues to epitomize the house's pursuit of elegance and masterful craftsmanship.
