Originating from the historic 1876 creation for Tsar Alexander II, this rare library release is crafted from a classic blend of approximately 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, sourced exclusively from biodynamically farmed Grand Cru parcels. The wine undergoes an extraordinarily long, dual-phase maturation process: it rests for over a decade on its lees, followed by nearly a decade of further bottle aging post-disgorgement in the cool, silent chalk cellars of Reims.
