✨ Technical Specifications

Louis Roederer's Vintage Brut is a masterclass in the expression of Pinot Noir from the cold, north-facing slopes of the Montagne de Reims, specifically the grand crus of Verzy and Verzenay. Unlike many houses that prioritize Chardonnay for their vintage cuvées, Roederer celebrates the structure, power, and vinous intensity of Pinot Noir, softened and illuminated by a touch of elegant Chardonnay. A signature of Roederer's style is the use of large oak foudres for aging a portion of the base wines, a traditional method that imparts a subtle creaminess, micro-oxygenation, and incredible depth without overpowering the pristine fruit. Historically, this cuvée represents the house's dedication to capturing the unique fingerprint of a single harvest, showcasing how the estate's biodynamic farming practices translate into tension, mineral precision, and remarkable longevity.

🍾 About the Producer

Renowned for its masterly balance of power and finesse, Louis Roederer is globally celebrated for creating the world's first prestige cuvée, Cristal, commissioned in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II of Russia, alongside exceptional vintage Champagnes and its hallmark multi-vintage Collection cuvées.
