✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the historic Finca Los Nobles estate in Las Compuertas, Luján de Cuyo, this exceptional red is crafted from ancient, ungrafted vines planted at an altitude of over 1,050 meters. The wine is a traditional field blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc—historically referred to in Bordeaux as 'Bouchet'. These companion varieties are harvested and co-fermented together, a traditional practice preserved by the pioneering Arizu family. The terroir's sandy-loam soils, combined with cold nights and intense Andean sunshine, yield a wine of remarkable structure, deep complexity, and refined elegance, aged gracefully in French oak barrels to harmonize its intense dark fruit and savory spice notes.

Founded in 1901 by Leoncio Arizu, Bodega Luigi Bosca is one of Argentina's most historic and prestigious wineries, located in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. Still family-owned and managed by the Arizu family, the estate has played a pioneering role in Argentine viticulture, notably helping to establish the country's first D.O.C. (Luján de Cuyo) in 1989. The winery's philosophy centers on showcasing the unique high-altitude terroirs of Mendoza through meticulous vineyard management and precise winemaking. Luigi Bosca is highly celebrated for its elegant, structured red blends and single-vineyard expressions, such as the iconic Finca Los Nobles Cabernet Bouchet and Gala 1 Malbec, alongside expressive whites like the Gala 3 Viognier and Linda Chardonnay.
