Luigi Bosca's Gala 1 is a sophisticated, modern expression of Mendoza's signature grape, crafted to celebrate the estate's centenary and pioneering spirit. This blend artfully marries the plush, dark-fruit character of high-altitude Malbec with the structure and deep color of Petit Verdot and Tannat, sourced from select old vineyards in Luján de Cuyo. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo meticulous selection before fermenting in stainless steel and aging in French oak barrels. The result is a deeply concentrated, complex red wine with layers of black cherry, plum, violet, and graphite, framed by firm yet velvety tannins. It represents a harmonious bridge between traditional Argentine richness and contemporary elegance.

Founded in 1901 by Leoncio Arizu, Bodega Luigi Bosca is one of Argentina's most historic and prestigious wineries, located in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. Still family-owned and managed by the Arizu family, the estate has played a pioneering role in Argentine viticulture, notably helping to establish the country's first D.O.C. (Luján de Cuyo) in 1989. The winery's philosophy centers on showcasing the unique high-altitude terroirs of Mendoza through meticulous vineyard management and precise winemaking. Luigi Bosca is highly celebrated for its elegant, structured red blends and single-vineyard expressions, such as the iconic Finca Los Nobles Cabernet Bouchet and Gala 1 Malbec, alongside expressive whites like the Gala 3 Viognier and Linda Chardonnay.
