Gala 2 is a refined, Bordeaux-style red blend crafted from select high-altitude vineyards in Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. This wine artfully combines the structure and deep dark-fruit character of Cabernet Sauvignon with the perfume and herbal complexity of Cabernet Franc, rounded out by the plush texture of Merlot. Sourced from older vines planted in rocky, alluvial soils, the grapes undergo meticulous selection before fermentation and subsequent aging in French oak barrels. Established in 1901 by Don Leoncio Arizu, Bodega Luigi Bosca stands as a cornerstone of modern Argentine viticulture. Steered across four generations by the Arizu family alongside head winemaker Pablo Cúneo, the estate was instrumental in defining Argentina's fine-wine identity and establishing the landmark Luján de Cuyo DOC in 1989. While universally celebrated for red expressions, the bodega boasts a venerable reputation for white and sparkling vinification, drawing fruit from prized high-altitude holdings across Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley. Sited on alluvial, gravel-strewn Andean soils, these vineyards benefit from sharp diurnal shifts that preserve vital natural acidity.
