M. Chapoutier's white wines of the Rhône Valley represent some of the most expressive and terroir-driven whites in the world. Guided by Michel Chapoutier's pioneering biodynamic philosophy, these wines are crafted to reflect the diverse soils of the region, from the steep, granite terraces of the Northern Rhône to the limestone-rich soils of the south. A signature element of the estate's heritage is the inclusion of Braille on all labels, a tradition initiated in 1996 to honor Monier de la Sizeranne, a historic figure in the blind community whose family originally owned the famed Hermitage vineyard. Chapoutier's white winemaking emphasizes minimal intervention, often utilizing native yeasts and aging in a combination of demi-muids, concrete eggs, and stainless steel to preserve the natural acidity, rich texture, and intense minerality characteristic of the region.

M. Chapoutier blev grundlagt i 1808 i Tain-l'Hermitage i Rhônedalen og har siden udviklet sig til et af Frankrigs mest berømte vinhuse.
