Hailing from the prestigious Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in the southern Rhône Valley, 'Les Grands Merisiers' by M. Chapoutier is a beautifully crafted red wine that pays homage to the wild cherry trees (merisiers) that historically dotted the landscape of these ancient vineyards. True to the pioneering biodynamic philosophy of Michel Chapoutier, this wine is crafted predominantly from Grenache, complemented by Syrah and Mourvèdre, harvested from soils rich in clay, sand, and the famous heat-retaining quartzite stones known as galets roulés. The vinification emphasizes terroir preservation, utilizing concrete tanks and large oak vats for aging to allow the vibrant, spicy red fruit character and earthy complexity of the southern Rhône to shine through without being masked by excessive new wood.

Established in 1808 in Tain-l'Hermitage, M.
