Hailing from the historic hills of Crozes-Hermitage in the northern Rhone Valley, M. Chapoutier's 'Les Meysonniers' Blanc is a masterful expression of 100% Marsanne. The Chapoutier family, established in Tain-l'Hermitage since 1808, has long championed the unique terroirs of the region, later pioneering biodynamic viticulture under Michel Chapoutier. This cuvee is born from vines grown on south-facing slopes composed of clay, gravel, and loess. In keeping with Chapoutier's historic commitment to inclusivity, the label features Braille, a tribute to Maurice de La Sizeranne, the blind inventor of the French Braille system who owned the family's original vineyard site. To preserve the grape's natural freshness and delicate aromatics, the wine is fermented and aged on its fine lees in stainless steel vats, producing a beautifully textured white wine characterized by notes of quince, white flowers, and a subtle mineral finish.

M. Chapoutier blev grundlagt i 1808 i Tain-l'Hermitage i Rhônedalen og har siden udviklet sig til et af Frankrigs mest berømte vinhuse. Husets internationale stjernestatus tog for alvor fart, da Michel Chapoutier overtog roret i 1990 med sin kompromisløse vision. Som pioner inden for biodynamisk vindyrkning og minimal intervention i vinkælderen er ejendommen særligt hyldet for sine enkeltmarks-aftapninger, 'sélections parcellaires', der formidler de fineste terroiregenskaber på tværs af Rhône og andre vinregioner. Chapoutier, der siden 1996 ikonisk har haft punktskrift (blindeskrift) på alle etiketter, skaber referencepunkter for druer som Syrah, Marsanne og Grenache i prestigiøse appellationer som Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie og Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
