✨ Technical Specifications
Moscato d'Asti DOCG is a iconic semi-sparkling (frizzante) sweet white wine produced in the Langhe and Monferrato hills of Piemonte, Italy. Crafted exclusively from Moscato Bianco (Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains), the wine is fermented in pressurized stainless steel tanks using the Asti method. Fermentation is halted early via chilling when the alcohol reaches around 5.5% ABV, preserving high natural residual sugar and delicate naturally occurring carbonation. Cantine Manfredi, based in Farigliano, produces this fresh, highly aromatic expression capturing classic floral and stone fruit notes.
🍾 About the Producer
Established in the 1930s by Nicolao Manfredi in Farigliano, Cantine Manfredi is a family-owned winery nestled within the rolling hills of Piedmont's renowned Langhe region. The estate flourished under Nicolao's son, Franco Manfredi, and continues to thrive across successive generations who remain committed to celebrating native Piedmontese grape varieties. Combining time-honored viticultural practices with modern vinification techniques, the cellar prioritizes terroir expression, freshness, and accessibility. Cantine Manfredi is particularly well-regarded for its fragrant and effervescent Moscato d'Asti, alongside an authentic portfolio of classic regional red and sparkling wines.
