Translating literally to 'Joy of the Vine,' this cuvée is sourced from carefully selected parcels across Burgundy, blending fruit from both the Côte d'Or and the Côte Chalonnaise. Winemaker Pascal Marchand employs organic and biodynamic principles in the vineyards, translating to the cellar with minimal intervention, native yeast fermentation, and aging in older French oak barrels to preserve the bright, primary fruit. The wine reflects the historic tradition of regional Bourgogne reds, which were historically enjoyed by the winemakers themselves as daily table wines.
