✨ Technical Specifications

Crafted as an elegant introduction to the classic terroir of Burgundy, the Marchand-Tawse Bourgogne Pinot Noir showcases the meticulous standards of Pascal Marchand and Moray Tawse. Sourced from carefully selected parcels across the Côte d'Or, this wine is a tribute to the region's ancient viticultural heritage, which was shaped over centuries by Cistercian and Benedictine monks. The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified using native yeasts, followed by aging in French oak barrels with a minimal proportion of new wood. This traditional, low-intervention approach preserves the vibrant, pure red fruit character—such as wild cherries and raspberries—complemented by subtle earthy undertones and a delicate, silky tannin structure that defines authentic Burgundian Pinot Noir.

🍾 About the Producer

Established in 2010 through the collaboration of acclaimed French-Canadian vigneron Pascal Marchand and Canadian entrepreneur Moray Tawse, Marchand-Tawse is a boutique domaine and négociant house based in Nuits-Saint-Georges in the heart of Burgundy, France. Uniting Pascal Marchand's decades of Burgundian winemaking mastery with exceptional terroirs spanning the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, the estate crafts wines that deeply reflect their individual climats. The winemaking philosophy is anchored in organic and biodynamic principles, characterized by meticulous fruit selection, gentle extraction, native fermentations, and judicious oak aging.
