Crafted by the adventurous Australian winemaker Mark Haisma, this Vin de France is a playful and rebellious nod to both his heritage and his adopted home in Burgundy. The Shiraz Gamay blend resurrects a historic, cross-regional blending philosophy, reminiscent of the classic mid-20th-century Australian 'claret' style that blended Shiraz with lighter varieties. By marrying the dark, peppery, and structured character of Rhône Syrah with the vibrant, high-toned, and juicy fruit of Gamay, Haisma bypasses rigid appellation constraints to create a wine of pure pleasure. The result is an energetic, medium-bodied red that balances savory spice with bright red-berry crunch, showcasing Haisma's signature low-intervention, fruit-forward style. It is a delicious testament to what happens when New World curiosity meets Old World terroir.

Dette boutique-domæne og mikronégociant-hus har hjemme i Gevrey-Chambertin i hjertet af Bourgogne og blev grundlagt af den australskfødte vinmager Mark Haisma, der oprindeligt var protegé for Bailey Carrodus på Yarra Yering.
