Vigneto di Evo Zinfandel is a heartfelt tribute to Evo Martinelli, the son of founders Giuseppe and Luisa Martinelli, who spent his entire life farming the family's historic Russian River Valley estate. Sourced from select estate parcels, this wine captures the essence of the family's deep agricultural roots. Crafted using traditional methods, including fermentation with native yeasts and bottling unfined and unfiltered, it represents the classic, opulent Russian River Valley Zinfandel style. The wine is celebrated for its intense aromatics of dark berries, warm baking spices, and a rich, velvety texture that reflects the unique microclimates and well-drained soils of the region.

Martinelli Winery blev grundlagt i slutningen af 1880'erne af de italienske immigranter Giuseppe Martinelli og Luisa Vellutini og er i dag en berømmet familieejad vingård med dybe rødder i Californiens Russian River Valley og Sonoma Coast. Gennem mere end et århundrede har familien dyrket historiske, stejle skråninger – herunder de legendariske parceller Jackass Hill og Jackass Vineyard, som blev beplantet helt tilbage i 1887.
