✨ Technical Specifications
Hailing from the sun-drenched vineyards of the Adige Valley in Trentino-Alto Adige, Mezzacorona's Firmian Lagrein Rosato is a vibrant tribute to the region's rich winemaking heritage. The 'Firmian' name pays homage to the historic Castel Firmian, a medieval fortress that stands guard over the Rotaliano plain. Crafted from the indigenous Lagrein grape, a variety cultivated in the region since at least the 14th century, this rosato captures the essence of its alpine terroir. The vines thrive in mineral-rich alluvial soils at the foot of the towering Dolomites, where warm days and cool mountain nights preserve the grape's natural acidity. To produce this expressive rosé, the grapes undergo a brief, controlled maceration on the skins to extract its brilliant pink hue, followed by cool fermentation in stainless steel. This preserves the wine's characteristic aromas of wild raspberries, red currants, and a delicate hint of white pepper.
