Hailing from the historic Rioja Alavesa region, Altos Ibericos is a tribute to Spanish gastronomy and heritage, crafted by the legendary Torres family. The wine is made from Tempranillo, the noble grape of Rioja, grown in vineyards near the medieval town of Labastida. Here, the Atlantic influence meets Mediterranean warmth, resulting in a microclimate that fosters intense aromatic complexity. The wine is typically aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels for about 12 months, followed by further refinement in the bottle. This process yields a deep red cherry color and a bouquet rich in forest fruits, dark cherries, and toasted cocoa notes, seamlessly blending Rioja's traditional elegance with the Torres family's modern winemaking philosophy.

Founded in 1870 by brothers Jaime and Miguel Torres Vendrell in Vilafranca del Penedès, Familia Torres has grown into one of Spain's most storied and internationally acclaimed wine dynasties.
