✨ Technical Specifications

Miguel Torres Chile's Andica Gran Reserva Carmenere is a tribute to the pristine natural heritage of Chile, crafted entirely from certified organic vineyards in the Central Valley. The name 'Andica' honors the majestic Andes Mountains, whose cooling breezes shape the region's unique microclimates. Carmenere itself carries a legendary history in Chile; once thought extinct in Europe after the phylloxera epidemic, it survived in Chilean vineyards disguised as Merlot for over a century before its dramatic rediscovery in 1994. Under the sustainable vision of the Torres family, this wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak to preserve its vibrant fruit character. It showcases the classic Chilean Carmenere profile, balancing rich dark fruit with subtle notes of spice, green bell pepper, and roasted coffee beans, all while championing biodiversity and ecological preservation.
