Carmenere itself carries a legendary history in Chile; once thought extinct in Europe after the phylloxera epidemic, it survived in Chilean vineyards disguised as Merlot for over a century before its dramatic rediscovery in 1994. Under the sustainable vision of the Torres family, this wine is fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak to preserve its vibrant fruit character.
