✨ Technical Specifications
Miguel Torres Chile’s 'Conde de Superunda' is a majestic tribute to the historical ties between Spain and Chile, named in honor of José Manso de Velasco, the Count of Superunda, who founded the city of Curicó in 1743. This flagship red blend represents a daring viticultural bridge, combining traditional Spanish varieties like Tempranillo and Monastrell with Chile's signature Carmenère and classic Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from select low-yielding vineyards in the stony soils of the Curicó Valley, the grapes undergo meticulous fermentation before spending close to two years maturing in new French oak barrels. The result is an intense, deeply structured wine of remarkable complexity, showcasing dark forest fruits, balsamic notes, toasted spices, and velvety, robust tannins that reflect both old-world heritage and new-world terroir.
