Part of Miguel Torres Chile's 'Cordillera' collection, which seeks to express the distinct personality of Chile's finest valley terroirs, this Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from the cool, semi-arid Elqui Valley within the Coquimbo region. Here, the vineyards are dramatically influenced by the cold Humboldt Current of the Pacific Ocean and the proximity of the Andes Mountains. This unique geography creates a microclimate characterized by morning mists, intense solar radiation, and cool evening breezes. The resulting slow ripening process allows the grapes to develop an intense aromatic profile of citrus, green chili, and passion fruit, underpinned by a distinct saline minerality and crisp acidity that reflects the stony, calcium-rich soils of the valley.

Established in 1870 by brothers Jaime and Miguel Torres Vendrell, Familia Torres stands as one of Spain's most historically influential and forward-thinking wine dynasties. Spanning prime estates across Catalonia (Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat, and Costers del Segre) as well as Rías Baixas and Ribera del Duero, the house negotiates a mosaic of terroirs—from maritime granitic soils in Galicia to high-elevation calcareous clay and slate in northeastern Spain.
