✨ wine.spec_sheet

Born from the innovative spirit of the legendary Miguel A. Torres in the late 1960s, Gran Coronas represents a landmark moment in Spanish winemaking history. At a time when traditional Spanish varieties dominated, Torres dared to plant French Cabernet Sauvignon in the chalky clay soils of the Penedès region in Catalunya. This pioneering blend of noble Cabernet Sauvignon with the traditional Tempranillo (locally known as Ull de Llebre) created a wine of exceptional harmony and structure. Aged carefully in French oak barrels, Gran Coronas showcases the perfect marriage of Catalan terroir and French elegance, offering deep aromas of dark forest fruits, black pepper, and subtle toasted oak notes that have made it a benchmark Spanish Reserva for decades.
