✨ Technical Specifications
Hailing from the historic Penedès region of Catalunya, Jaime I is an extraordinary Spanish brandy created by the legendary house of Miguel Torres. This exceptional spirit is a liquid tribute to the founder, Don Jaime Torres, and pays homage to the visionary Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, with its iconic bottle design inspired by the undulating stone chimneys of Casa Milà (La Pedrera) in Barcelona. Distilled primarily from the local Parellada grape—traditionally reserved for delicate Cava—alongside a portion of historic Folle Blanche, the brandy undergoes double distillation in traditional copper alembic stills. It is then aged using the dynamic solera system in American oak casks. The final blend incorporates exceptionally old soleras, some aging up to 30 years, resulting in a brandy of immense complexity, showing notes of toasted coconut, dried fruits, spices, and a deep, rancio character.
