Hailing from the historic Millapoa sector in the Nacimiento area of Chile's southern Bio-Bio region, this wine is a tribute to the country's viticultural origins. Made from ancient, dry-farmed, self-rooted País vines—some of which are over a century old—growing on the granitic banks of the Biobío River, this bottling represents a living history. Miguel Torres Chile has championed the revival of this ancestral variety, which was originally brought by Spanish missionaries in the 16th century. The wine is crafted using traditional, low-intervention methods, capturing the wild, rustic essence of the terroir with notes of fresh red berries, earthy spices, and wild herbs.
