Hailing from the historic 14th-century Pazo Torre Penelas estate in Galicia's Val do Salnés, this singular Albariño is a groundbreaking tribute to Galician terroir. Familia Torres crafts this white wine using innovative egg-shaped granite vats for both fermentation and lees aging. This unusual vessel choice directly mirrors the region's granitic bedrock, allowing for a natural micro-oxygenation that shapes a wine of extraordinary texture, vibrant acidity, and intense saline minerality. Familia Torres blev grundlagt i 1870 af brødrene Jaime og Miguel Torres Vendrell og regnes i dag blandt Spaniens mest indflydelsesrige og fremsynede vindynastier. Huset råder over førsteklasses vinmarker på tværs af Catalonien (Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat og Costers del Segre) samt i Rías Baixas og Ribera del Duero.
