Conceived in 1954 by Miguel Torres Carb3, Sangre de Toro ("Bull's Blood") was created to capture the rich, passionate spirit of the Catalan land. The name pays homage to Bacchus, the Roman god of wine, historically depicted as a bull or referred to as the "Son of the Bull." This classic Mediterranean blend is crafted primarily from Garnacha and Cariñena, grapes that thrive in the sun-drenched, clay-limestone soils of Catalunya. Traditionally aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels, it delivers a robust profile of dark forest fruits, warm spices, and a touch of toasted oak. It stands as an iconic symbol of Spanish winemaking heritage, representing accessible quality and deep-rooted tradition.
