Moët & Chandon's Collection Impériale Création No. 1 represents the absolute pinnacle of the house's blending expertise, launched to celebrate their 280th anniversary. This multi-vintage prestige cuvée is an intricate assemblage of seven outstanding years, anchored by the 2013 vintage aged in stainless steel, and enriched by older reserve wines aged in oak casks and on their lees in bottle. The concept pays homage to the visionary spirit of Jean-Rémy Moët, who famously shared his champagnes with Napoleon Bonaparte, cementing the house's imperial legacy. By masterfully blending different aging vessels and vintages, Chef de Cave Benoît Gouez has crafted a Champagne of extraordinary depth, freshness, and complexity, showcasing the chalky terroir of Champagne's finest Grand and Premier Cru vineyards.
