Created to celebrate a momentous milestone in the history of Champagne, the Cuvée 250ème Anniversaire was released by Moët & Chandon in 1993 to commemorate 250 years since the house's founding by Claude Moët in 1743. This rare, highly collectible bottling is a prestige vintage Champagne from the acclaimed 1983 vintage, disgorged specifically for this anniversary. Sourced from the house's finest Grand and Premier Cru vineyards, the wine underwent extended lees aging in the historic labyrinthine chalk cellars of Épernay. It stands as a liquid monument to a quarter-millennium of winemaking prestige, balancing the vibrant freshness of Chardonnay with the structured elegance of Pinot Noir and the fruit-forward roundness of Pinot Meunier.
