Founded in 1743 by Claude Moët, the house famously earned the patronage of Napoleon Bonaparte, inspiring the 'Impérial' designation. This non-vintage cuvée is defined by a dominant proportion of Pinot Noir, which imparts depth and structure, complemented by the roundness of Pinot Meunier and the elegance of Chardonnay. Sourced from the diverse terroirs of the Champagne region, it undergoes traditional method fermentation and extensive cellar aging, resulting in a golden hue, aromas of ripe stone fruits, toasted brioche, and a distinctive, full-bodied complexity that honors the historic legacy of the Épernay cellars.
