The Central Valley, flanked by the towering Andes and the cooling Pacific, provides an extraordinary diurnal temperature range that coaxes intense aromatic complexity and refined structure from the grapes. Pioneered by winemakers who sought to balance rich fruit expression with elegant acidity, this wine is crafted using carefully selected grapes that undergo aging in both French oak barrels and traditional large foudres. This dual aging approach tempers the bold, muscular tannins of the Cabernet Sauvignon, weaving in subtle notes of tobacco, cedar, and spice without overshadowing the vibrant blackcurrant and plum core.

Viña Morandé blev grundlagt i 1996 af den visionære vinmager Pablo Morandé, som er almindeligt anerkendt for sin pionerindsats inden for vindyrkning i det kølige klima i Casablanca Valley. I dag rangerer vinhuset blandt Chiles mest innovative og respekterede producenter.
