Sourced from cooler, high-altitude vineyards in the Douro valley, the wine is crafted from a field blend of traditional grape varieties, including Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Amarela. Fermented and aged primarily in stainless steel to preserve its bright, crunchy red fruit character and mineral drive, 'Allez Sante!' is a joyful, light-bodied red that pays homage to the traditional, easy-drinking tavern wines of Portugal's past while appealing to modern natural wine enthusiasts.

Established in 1842 by Franciscus Marius van der Niepoort, Niepoort has evolved from a venerable family-run Port shipper into one of the most visionary and influential forces in Portuguese viticulture. Guided by fifth-generation iconoclast Dirk Niepoort alongside his son Daniel, the estate has redefined Douro winemaking by championing terroir-driven, lower-alcohol dry table wines alongside monumental fortified expressions.
