✨ wine.spec_sheet

Niepoort's Diálogo Branco is a vibrant testament to the fresh, mineral-driven potential of the Douro Valley's high-altitude white grape varieties. Part of Dirk Niepoort's whimsical 'Fabulous' series, the wine's label features illustrative stories designed to spark conversation, embodying the spirit of 'diálogo' (dialogue) at the dinner table. Sourced from schistose soils in the Cima Corgo, this field blend typically features indigenous grapes such as Rabigato, Códega do Larinho, Gouveio, Dona Branca, and Viosinho. To preserve its crisp, aromatic profile and bright acidity, the wine is primarily fermented and aged in stainless steel, with a small portion resting on its fine lees to add a subtle, texturing complexity. It represents a modern, approachable side of the Douro, far removed from the heavy, oak-laden styles of the past.
