Named in honor of Don Nicanor Nieto, a foundational figure in the winery's rich history, the Don Nicanor Blend is a masterful expression of Mendoza's high-altitude terroir. Crafted from select parcels in Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, this red blend marries the plush, velvety dark fruit of Malbec with the robust structure and spice of Cabernet Sauvignon and other complementary varietals. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo meticulous fermentation before aging in French oak barrels. This process imparts elegant notes of vanilla, cocoa, and tobacco to the vibrant blackberry and plum core. The wine stands as a tribute to traditional Argentine winemaking, blending old-world structure with the intense, sun-drenched fruit of the Andes.

Bodega Nieto Senetiner blev grundlagt i Vistalba i 1888 af italienske immigranter og regnes i dag som en af de historiske grundpiller i vindyrkningen i Luján de Cuyo. Vingården blev overtaget af familierne Nieto og Senetiner i 1969 og blev en del af Molinos Río de la Plata i 1998. Huset råder over førsteklasses parceller i Vistalba og Agrelo, herunder Finca Villa Blanca og Finca Las Tortugas. Vinmarkerne ligger for foden af Andesbjergene i 950 til 1.150 meters højde, hvor de trives i en alluvial undergrund af ler, muld og grus, begunstiget af store temperaturforskelle mellem nat og dag samt intenst sollys i højderne. Chefvinmager Santiago Mayorga forener klassiske rødvine med krystalklare, aromatiske hvidvine og rosévine skabt med moderne præcision. Nieto Senetiner er verdenskendt for sine skoledannende Malbec-vine og historiske Bonarda, men mestrer i lige så høj grad det friske og aromatiske udtryk i de frugtdrevne serier til hverdagen, herunder Benjamín, Fran og Emilia. Her bevares et rent druesortspræg, en livlig, naturlig syre og en raffineret balance på tværs af Torrontés, Moscatel de Alejandría, Sauvignon Blanc og Chardonnay.
