Hailing from the historic Finca Villa Blanca vineyard in Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo, this exceptional single-vineyard bottling is crafted from centenarian Malbec vines planted in 1900. These ungrafted, old vines yield remarkably low quantities of highly concentrated fruit. Named in honor of Don Nicanor, the wine represents a bridge to Mendoza's golden viticultural past. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in small concrete vats before undergoing aging in French oak barrels. This traditional yet precise winemaking coaxes out a deeply complex profile of dark plums, violets, graphite, and refined, velvety tannins, embodying the elegant, structured signature of Vistalba's unique terroir.
