The 'Fran' range by Nieto Senetiner represents a contemporary, vibrant approach to Argentina's signature grape. Named as an inviting, friendly nod to a younger generation of wine enthusiasts, Fran Malbec is crafted to showcase the pure, unadorned fruit character of Mendoza's vineyards. Unlike the estate's more structured, oak-matured reserve bottlings, Fran focuses on freshness, high drinkability, and immediate accessibility. Fermented with temperature control to preserve primary aromas, it highlights bright red fruit notes, floral hints of violet, and exceptionally smooth, soft tannins. It reflects Nieto Senetiner's ability to marry their historic winemaking legacy with a modern, casual style of everyday enjoyment.

Founded in 1888 by Italian immigrants in the premier wine-growing region of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza, Nieto Senetiner is one of Argentina's most historic and prestigious wineries. The estate was acquired by the Nieto and Senetiner families in 1969, who expanded its facilities while preserving its architectural heritage, and it is now part of the Perez Companc Group. Renowned for its deep respect for terroir, the winery crafts exceptional wines from historic vineyards, including the centenarian vines of Finca Villa Blanca planted in 1906. Under the guidance of winemaker Santiago Mayorga, Nieto Senetiner produces elegant, structured wines, most notably their acclaimed Don Nicanor Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and innovative blends that showcase the classic character of Mendoza.
