Nieto Senetiner has been a pioneer in elevating Bonarda from a humble blending grape to a premium, single-varietal star of Argentina. The Partida Limitada Bonarda represents the pinnacle of this endeavor, sourced from select parcels of ancient, low-yielding vines in Mendoza. Historically, Bonarda arrived in Argentina with Italian immigrants in the late 19th century, often confused with Barbera before being identified as the Savoie variety Corbeau (also known as Charbono). Under the careful guidance of the estate's winemakers, this limited-release wine is crafted using traditional fermentation followed by aging in French oak barrels. The result is a deeply colored, complex red that showcases the grape's intense dark fruit character, velvety tannins, and vibrant acidity, proving that Bonarda can stand proudly alongside the country's finest Malbecs.
