✨ wine.spec_sheet

Bodega Norton's Finca Malbec is a vibrant, fruit-forward celebration of Mendoza's signature grape, crafted to showcase the pure, unadorned character of the region's high-altitude terroir. Sourced from select vineyards in Mendoza, where the vines are nourished by pure Andean snowmelt and bathed in intense, high-altitude sunlight, this wine is designed to be approachable and highly expressive. Unlike its more heavily structured, oak-aged siblings, the Finca Malbec is fermented primarily in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve its bright, juicy red fruit profile and floral notes. It captures the convivial spirit of the traditional Argentine asado, offering a friendly, authentic glimpse into the everyday wine culture of Mendoza, where Bodega Norton has been a pioneering force since 1895.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Founded in 1895 by English engineer Edmund James Palmer Norton, Bodega Norton is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Argentina's Luján de Cuyo region in Mendoza. In 1989, the historic estate was acquired by Austrian businessman Gernot Langes-Swarovski, who modernized the facilities while preserving its rich heritage. Today, the winery is celebrated for its high-altitude viticulture and commitment to expressing the unique terroir of the Primera Zona. Norton is particularly renowned for its structured, age-worthy Malbecs, such as the iconic Gernot Langes blend and the Reserva Malbec, alongside vibrant white wines like Torrontés and Chardonnay.
