Bodega Norton's signature Malbec is a definitive expression of Mendoza's high-altitude terroir, where intense sunlight and cool mountain nights forge grapes of remarkable concentration and balance. Sourced from estate vineyards in the Luján de Cuyo region, often referred to as the cradle of Argentine Malbec, this wine pays homage to the pioneering spirit of Edmund James Palmer Norton, who recognized the valley's potential back in 1895. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo traditional fermentation in stainless steel and concrete vats, followed by partial aging in French oak barrels. This careful process preserves the grape's natural, vibrant dark fruit flavors while imparting a subtle, velvety structure and a hint of sweet spice, capturing the very essence of Argentine winemaking history.

Founded in 1895 by English engineer Edmund James Palmer Norton, Bodega Norton is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Argentina's Luján de Cuyo region in Mendoza. In 1989, the historic estate was acquired by Austrian businessman Gernot Langes-Swarovski, who modernized the facilities while preserving its rich heritage. Today, the winery is celebrated for its high-altitude viticulture and commitment to expressing the unique terroir of the Primera Zona. Norton is particularly renowned for its structured, age-worthy Malbecs, such as the iconic Gernot Langes blend and the Reserva Malbec, alongside vibrant white wines like Torrontés and Chardonnay.
