Muskateller, or Gelber Muskateller, is one of the oldest and most historically significant grape families in the world, celebrated since antiquity for its intense fragrance. In the Pfalz region of Germany, Oliver Zeter coaxes an incredibly vibrant and dry expression from this ancient variety. Grown in the region's sun-drenched, sheltered vineyards, the grapes benefit from a terroir of loess, clay, and limestone, which imparts a subtle mineral backbone to the wine. Zeter utilizes gentle pressing and cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve the grape's highly volatile, exotic aromatics. The result is a wonderfully dry, light-footed white wine that balances intense floral and spicy notes with a crisp, animating acidity, all under the watchful eye of the estate's iconic whimsical bear mascot.

Founded in 2007 by Oliver Zeter and his family, the Oliver Zeter winery is situated in Neustadt an der Weinstraße in the sun-drenched Pfalz region of Germany. Born out of a deep-seated passion for viticulture after years in the international wine trade, the estate gained swift acclaim, symbolized by the iconic 'drinking bear' caricature sketched by artist Otto Heinrich Strohmeyer in the 1930s. Oliver Zeter embraces a modern and meticulous approach to winemaking, championing parcel-specific vinification and selective oak aging to showcase the terroir's diverse sandstone, limestone, and loess soils. The winery is particularly celebrated as a pioneer of multifaceted Sauvignon Blanc in Germany, alongside pure, expressive bottlings of Grauburgunder, Riesling, and distinctive, age-worthy red blends such as 'Z'.
