The Reserve Weissburgunder from Oliver Zeter represents a sophisticated, Burgundian-influenced expression of Pinot Blanc grown in the sun-drenched Pfalz region. Sourced from limestone-rich soils that impart a distinct mineral backbone, the grapes are carefully selected and fermented using wild yeasts. Zeter ages this reserve bottling in French oak barriques and tonneaux on the lees, a method that coaxes out a creamy texture, delicate brioche notes, and a subtle smoky complexity while preserving the grape's natural vibrant acidity. The wine beautifully balances Pfalz's generous fruit character with an elegant, structured depth, all under the watchful eye of the estate's signature whimsical bear mascot.
