Born from the legendary Bolgheri estate famed for its pioneering Super Tuscan reds, Ornellaia Bianco represents a bold quest to craft a white wine of equal prestige and complexity. Sourced from select north-facing hillside parcels where cool maritime breezes from the Tyrrhenian Sea temper the Tuscan sun, this exceptional cuvée is primarily composed of Sauvignon Blanc complemented by Viognier. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in French oak barriques, followed by aging on the fine lees to build a rich, multi-layered texture. This meticulous process yields a white wine of extraordinary depth, balancing vibrant Mediterranean energy with structured, age-worthy elegance.
