Ornellaia's 'Carisma' represents the celebrated 2015 vintage of their flagship Bolgheri DOC Superiore, bottled under the estate's 'Vendemmia d'Artista' project to mark its milestone 30th vintage. This legendary Super Tuscan is a classic Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The grapes are harvested from Bolgheri's unique mosaic of marine, alluvial, and volcanic soils, benefiting from the cooling Mediterranean breezes. Each parcel is vinified separately before undergoing aging for 18 months in French oak barriques, followed by further refinement in the bottle. The theme 'Il Carisma' (Charisma) was chosen to capture the vintage's profound harmony, structure, and magnetic personality, reflecting the estate's historical dedication to producing wines of unparalleled elegance and power.
