✨ Technical Specifications
Osborne's Fino Coquinero is a legendary Sherry that bridges the gap between a classic crisp Fino and a complex Amontillado. Crafted in El Puerto de Santa María within Andalucia's famed Sherry Triangle, this wine is made from 100% Palomino Fino grapes grown in moisture-retaining white albariza soils. It undergoes an extended biological aging under a veil of yeast, known as flor, in a traditional solera system for over six years. The name 'Coquinero' pays homage to the local shellfish gatherers (coquineros) of the coastal wetlands, who historically favored this dry, savory wine to accompany their daily catch. This extended aging gives Coquinero a deeper gold hue, intense aromas of almonds, dried wildflowers, and a distinctive briny, yeast-derived complexity.
