✨ wine.spec_sheet

Steeped in the rich history of El Puerto de Santa Maria, Osborne's Fino Sherry represents a winemaking legacy dating back to 1772, when English merchant Thomas Osborne Mann founded the house. Crafted from Palomino grapes grown in the chalky, moisture-retaining albariza soils of Andalucia, this classic Fino owes its distinctive character to biological aging. Beneath a naturally occurring veil of yeast known as 'flor,' the wine is shielded from oxygen inside traditional solera casks. This unique environment imparts its signature pale-straw hue, bone-dry profile, and complex aromas of fresh dough, sea brine, and wild herbs, capturing the maritime essence of the Cadiz coast. The iconic Osborne bull, originally designed to promote their brand, has since become a beloved national symbol of Spain, mirroring the enduring cultural footprint of this historic bodega.
