✨ Technical Specifications
Osborne's Late Bottled Vintage Port bridges the historic Spanish heritage of the Osborne family with the deeply rooted traditions of Portugal's Douro Valley. Sourced from classic terraced vineyards carved into the steep schist slopes of the Douro, this LBV is crafted from traditional varieties like Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz. Unlike classic Vintage Ports, which age briefly in wood, this LBV is matured in large oak vats for four to six years before bottling. This extended wood aging coaxes out rich, dark fruit flavors, velvety tannins, and a supple structure, offering the depth of a vintage-style Port but with immediate accessibility upon release.
🍾 About the Producer

Over more than two and a half centuries of continuous family ownership, the producer has built a celebrated legacy rooted in traditional solera aging within the historic Sherry Triangle of Andalusia, while also expanding its craftsmanship to include exceptional Port wines from the Douro Valley. Celebrated worldwide by its iconic black bull silhouette, Osborne is renowned for its uncompromising standard of quality across an expansive portfolio, highlighted by prestigious VORS Pedro Ximénez, complex Oloroso and Tawny Ports, and world-class aged Brandies de Jerez.
