Osborne, established in 1772 by the young English merchant Thomas Osborne Mann, is one of the oldest and most prestigious wine and spirits houses in Iberia. While famous for its Spanish heritage and the iconic silhouette of the Osborne bull, the house has long maintained a dedicated presence in Portugal's Douro Valley, aging its Ports in the historic lodges of Vila Nova de Gaia. The 10-Year-Old Tawny Port is crafted from traditional Douro varieties including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz. It undergoes a decade of patient oxidative aging in seasoned oak casks, a process that transforms the deep purple of youth into a warm, amber-tawny hue. This slow maturation develops a complex aromatic profile of dried figs, hazelnuts, toasted almonds, and subtle spices, representing a seamless marriage of Spanish entrepreneurial legacy and Portuguese winemaking tradition.

Osborne blev grundlagt i 1772 i El Puerto de Santa María af den engelske købmand Thomas Osborne Mann og er i dag et af Spaniens ældste og mest velansete vin- og spiritushuse. Gennem mere end to et halvt århundrede i familiens eje har huset opbygget et enestående renommé med rødder i den traditionelle solera-lagring i Andalusiens historiske Sherry-trekant – suppleret af enestående portvine fra Dourodalen.
