The Growers Guild Red Blend is a tribute to the dedicated winegrowers of Washington State's Columbia Valley. Conceived by the winemaking team at Owen Roe, this wine celebrates the essential, collaborative relationship between viticulturists and winemakers. Sourced from select vineyards across the Columbia Valley, the wine showcases the region's signature terroir, where dramatic diurnal temperature shifts preserve natural acidity while fostering deep, concentrated fruit flavors. The wine is typically crafted using small-batch fermentation and aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels to deliver a plush, approachable, and structurally balanced profile that honors the hard work of the local agricultural community.

Owen Roe blev grundlagt i 1999 af vinmageren David O'Reilly og Jerry McNally med en klar ambition om at skabe terroir-drevne vine i verdensklasse fra de ypperste vinmarker i Pacific Northwest. Vingården er opkaldt efter den irske 1600-tals-patriot Owen Roe O'Neill og råder over egne faciliteter samt opkøber druer på tværs af både Columbia Valley og Yakima Valley i Washington samt Willamette Valley i Oregon. Owen Roe arbejder ud fra en filosofi om minimal indgriben, hvor nænsom vinfremstilling og en velafbalanceret fadlagring bringer det unikke særpræg frem fra berømte marker som DuBrul, Red Willow og Union Gap. Huset er særligt anerkendt for sine nuancerede enkeltmarks-vine på Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah og Cabernet Franc samt populære og karakterfulde blends som Sinister Hand, Ex Umbris og Abbot's Table.
