Paul Jaboulet A'n''s Saint-Joseph "La Croix des Vignes" is sourced from a prized, steeply terraced lieu-dit perched high on the historic granite slopes above Tournon-sur-Rh''ne. The name "Croix des Vignes" (Cross of the Vineyards) evokes the ancient stone crosses that historically marked parish boundaries and blessed the steep, hand-worked vineyards of the region. This 100% Syrah benefits from south-facing exposure and decomposing granite soils, which impart a distinctive mineral tension, dark berry concentration, and savory black pepper spice. Aged in French oak barrels, it represents a refined, terroir-driven expression of Northern Rh''ne Syrah, balancing power with the characteristic freshness of the appellation.

Founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet in the northern Rhône Valley, Paul Jaboulet Aîné is one of France's most iconic wine estates, renowned for its historic vineyards and uncompromising quality. Now owned by the Frey family and guided by winemaker Caroline Frey, the estate has transitioned to certified organic and biodynamic viticulture across its legendary holdings, which span prestigious appellations like Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, and Cornas. The house is globally celebrated for its flagship Syrah, Hermitage "La Chapelle," alongside expressive white wines and the accessible, classic Parallèle 45 range. Through meticulous parcel-by-parcel vinification and aging in French oak, Jaboulet continues to craft elegant, terroir-driven wines that define the character of the Rhône.
