The name "Croix des Vignes" (Cross of the Vineyards) evokes the ancient stone crosses that historically marked parish boundaries and blessed the steep, hand-worked vineyards of the region. This 100% Syrah benefits from south-facing exposure and decomposing granite soils, which impart a distinctive mineral tension, dark berry concentration, and savory black pepper spice. Aged in French oak barrels, it represents a refined, terroir-driven expression of Northern Rh''ne Syrah, balancing power with the characteristic freshness of the appellation.

Established in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet on the sun-drenched granite slopes of Tain-l'Hermitage, Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné stands as one of the Rhône Valley's most storied viticultural estates. Acquired in 2006 by the Frey family, the domain experienced a profound renaissance under the stewardship of master oenologist and viticulturist Caroline Frey, who converted its extensive Northern Rhône holdings to certified organic viticulture alongside rigorous biodynamic regimens.
