The 'Incognito H' Blanc by Paul Jaboulet Aîné is a wonderfully enigmatic white wine that whispers of its prestigious origins. The 'H' is a playful nod to the legendary hill of Hermitage, from which this declassified cuvée is sourced. Winemaker Caroline Frey crafts this wine to offer wine lovers a secret keyhole view into the majestic, structured world of Hermitage whites without the formal appellation constraints. Grown on the steep, sun-drenched granitic and alluvial terraces of the northern Rhône, the grapes undergo meticulous selection and gentle pressing, followed by aging in French oak barrels. The result is a wine of striking complexity, balancing rich, waxy textures with vibrant mineral tension, showcasing notes of white peach, honeysuckle, and toasted almonds.
